Every time I chance upon a gate, I consider it an invitation or opportunity to pass through it (or under it, if covered) and enjoy an alternate view (or path); it gives me a different perspective with just a few steps (of which I happily participate). And these openings are literally all over the place; almost every wall, hedge, or divider needs a way to get to the other side, right? Using a gate is a great metaphor for choosing a plant-based diet; it’s not that much of an effort to go from one side to the other. Not really.
And yes, there will be challenges. All changes of any sort come with challenges. Embrace the change for the better, knowing that once you do, your body will start to heal and give you back loads of energy and vitality. Say hello to health and goodbye to sickness. Leave illness behind. Your life will be better in so many ways. Living food does that; it ricochets all over, leaving a trail of calm and clarity. How cool is that?
So the next time you have a chance to pass through a gate, do so and consider it a reminder to examine your current diet. Perhaps you could make a change to veganism and see the world from a whole new perspective. And it won’t be all that different from where you are right now. Just a few steps and you’re there.
